About us
This Community Hall was opened in April 2002. The old primary school across the road, used to be our only hall previously. Funding for the new hall was sponsored by the National Lottery, generous donations by friends, numerous fund-raising activities, and untiring efforts of individual members of the Management Committee at that time to ensure success of the venture.
We are pleased to be able to say that we have a hall suitable for many activities. Ideal to hold concerts, with excellent acoustics in the Main Hall. There is easy access and adequate parking nearby. The Management Committee is responsible for the running of the Hall, meeting regularly every month with an Annual General Public Meeting usually in April. A part-time caretaker is employed and is on the premises every evening from Monday to Friday. CCTV cameras have recently been installed.
